Unravel me

I have no idea what is going through my head right now, I am absolutely in shock, my mind is running at 100 miles a minute.  This book got me so confused about characters about people, my trust shifted so fast.  The entire book I was gripping my seat wondering what the hell was happening.  I was Team Adam all the way, I didn't even know there was a Team Warner.  He was a monster , a abomination and then the author can't make us happy can she? Nope, she has to kill us 400 times and bring us back to life still feeling the pain of all the kills.  She makes sure that Adam and Juliette's love hurtles to a stop then she decides to make Warner a completely different person.  What!!! Is going on?  I didn't even know if my eyes were working.
There were so many times in the book I got so frustrated with Juliette.  I wanted to be there and scream at her Get it together girl!! You are so strong , stop wallowing in your self pity then I realised the reason I was frustrated with her was because she was just like me, forgive easily, trust easily, fall easily and live every emotion to the fullest and when broken down completely gone.  Most teenage girls are like that and the author actually made me discover my own character.
I want to read the next book so bad you have no idea.  Ignite me here I come and I am completely befuddled which team I am on by the end of the book.

Shatter Me

This book was absolutely amazing!! It blew my breath away. I've been waiting for a book like this !! Finally it blessed me with its presence.
When I read a book, I want to feel every emotion, every feeling and this book did just that.
In the first part of the book, Juliette was feeling so dejected I found myself feeling dejected too.  I wanted to save her from the pain she was going through and I felt so helpless.  Her shock her fear her disbelief her betrayal it all cut through me like I was there and feeling it with her but somehow I also knew that I would never feel the exact emotion.  I have no idea how the author did it but she did
And omg the romance, it took my breath away.  The feelings that coursed through me when Adam made her feel wanted when he showed her she was worth it, when he showed her that she was not a monster she had a gift.  He made her feel whole and made me feel whole.  How I want to be loved by a man like that.  Every teenage girls biggest dream.  Her determination grew and made me feel more confident, it made me feel like you know what they are actually going to pull through this, they are going to manage it.  But the author wouldn't leave us in a safe haven for too long.  She made me gasp, almost cry but by the middle of the book Juliette had become a fighter and she would do anything to save the people she cared about.
That made her up on my list in female male characters, she was strong, not dependant to the point it became painful, she was different and most of all she was a fighter and I respect that.
Adam was the perfect male lead.  He was handsome, he was dependable, he scared us sometimes with doubts through Juliette's head but which male lead doesn't, he had his own character and his own story and he was not overshadowed.  And both of them loved each other and made me cry about how strong the power of love is.
And when Juliette found Hope which had been missing her entire life, I think that was the favourite part of the story.

Laguna Cove

This book did not blow me away however I do not think it meant to.  It was the perfect light summer read and the characters were extremely relatable.  The lines between good and bad were blurred and it shows that nobody is perfect.
The story was basically about four girls.
Anne : The East Coast Girl who moved to sunny Cali and badly wanted to fit in.  Anne was a diving champ at her old school and she was sent across the country to California against her wishes to live with her dad where she met Chris who offered to teach her how to surf.
This didn't go well with Ellie.  Chris and Anne fought when Anne accidentally told Chris that Ellie was in love with him however they got back together on Ellie's advice.
Ellie : the popular girl at Anne's new school as well as the surf champion.  She had a crush on Chris forever but Chris clearly liked Anne and therefore she was mean to Anne but Ellie wasn't the stereotypical mean girl.  She had an overbearing father and her mother had died from cancer and at the end of the book she realised friendship was more important than crushing on a boy who clearly liked someone else.
Lola :  Lola was one of Ellie's best friends who took an extreme liking to Anne.  She lived in an old fashioned family who tried to dictate her life.  Even who she dated.  Lola went through a lot of issues through the book.  Her boyfriend dumped her and then her parents decided to play match making and set her up with a boy who was gay.  They pretended to have a relationship so their parents would be happy while they dated other people in secret.
Jade : Jade was Ellie's other best friend. Jade was extremely optimistic and trusting and she loved to help people but, when Jade came across Ben everybody told her he was bad news.  She didn't listen and continued trying to help him.  However when Ben was drunk and stoned and she was driving him home she found herself at the police station.  Her parents who were usually very easy going and understanding got very angry and grounded her explaining that maybe Ben did not want help. She learned something very valuable and her parents allowed her to go to the Surf Fest to watch her friends.
This was a moral based story and I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to reading more books like this in the future and if you are looking for a light sweet read this book is for you

Nerve - Jeanne Ryan

First of all let me start by saying this was a good book it just didn't rise to my expectations so u can pick it up.
This book caught my attention by the plot.  The plot was incredible.  A girl in the shadows wanting to show what she was made of so, deciding to go for a game show of dares which turned out to be more sinister than you realized.  Also we can't forget the eye candy, Ian for a dash of romance and there was a bit of a love triangle there too so I thought I'd give it a try
The prologue was good, got me excited but I had no idea what was going on.  I figured I would find out later.  When I started reading further I realized the author didn't explain anything.  I had to guess my way through the story.  The action was crazy but, it wasn't nail biting action and when the book went further I realized even when the players were on the verge of dying that I didn't care.
I didn't really connect with the characters.  That might be my fault but I just didn't.  They did not grip me, I did not feel any emotions and I hate it when a story does that to me.  It puts me on a high and I just don't feel anything when I actually come around to reading it.
For anyone who wants a easy read with action this book is for you and this book was good, I thoroughly enjoyed it and the cliff hanger at the end killed me but if you are a book lover and you are looking for a good book in which you want to feel every emotion under the sun this book doesn't do it so I suggest you use this book as a filler.
No offence to the author at all, I know how hard it is to write a book. Just stating what I felt when I read the book so, that's about it.
